3.What are contactless payments spending limits?
The maximum per Contactless Transaction is 50 EUR (valid across Europe), and accumulated Daily Contactless Payments: 150 EUR.
Please note that these limits apply to EEA Gate Crypto Card. If you exceed the accumulated contactless payment limit, your transaction will be declined. It’s suggested to use chip-and-PIN transactions instead of contactless transactions if the amount is over 50 EUR
For example, if you’ve made contactless payments totaling €140 today and attempt a €15 contactless transaction, it will be declined because the accumulated contactless amount would exceed €150. To reset the accumulated contactless amount, simply use Chip & PIN for your next transaction, after which you can resume making contactless payments.
